ROTA

COLOUR BREAK
The Colour Break applies a snap ring to the neck of the ampoule. Up to four coding rings can be applied, or three for coding and one for breaking. If required, two can be installed above and two below.
COLOUR BREAK (OVERHEAD)
The overhead Colour Break performs the same functions as the Standard Colour Break, applying the ring to the upper part of the ampoule.
OPCAM
The mechanical system enables the execution of the OPC, which consists of making a small cut in the neck of the ampoule and applying a paint dot aligned with said cut. The purpose of this paint dot is to indicate the position of the break-cut, facilitating the correct opening of the ampoule.
The vision system, for its part, allows for the automated quality control of the OPC and the rings (both coding and break rings); elements which are incorporated into the pre-formed ampoules through additional operations within the production line.
The system consists of a camera and an infrared lighting system specifically designed for this application. Both elements are adjustable in position, allowing them to cover all ampoule types defined by ISO standards and ensuring precise inspection for every format.
Regarding the OPC, the system is capable of verifying both the presence and dimensions of its constituent elements, as well as detecting the appearance of unwanted defects such as smudges, chips, or other surface imperfections.
As for the rings, the system can reliably monitor both their quantity and continuity, ensuring they meet the established quality requirements.
Thanks to early incident detection, the system allows for the rapid identification of any process anomalies and the application of necessary corrective actions, preventing the generation of large quantities of defective product and improving overall production efficiency.
PRINTING
The system allows you to achieve excellent print quality on your ampoules, with the option to print in one or both directions. Parameter settings are configured simply and intuitively by the operator via an HMI screen.
PRE-DRYING
Pre-drying evaporates solvents to fix the OPC dot and the printing before they enter the annealing lehr.
